Celebration is one of the largest gatherings in Southeast Alaska of Native peoples from across the state. It is a time of coming together and celebrating the cultures of Alaska through song, dance, art and language. When Goldbelt Inc reached out to us to help them produce a short doc that centered around their shareholders’ experience during the 2024 Celebration festivities we were thrilled and beyond thankful for the opportunity to tell such an important story.

From documenting the exhilarating last leg pf the traditional canoe journey into Juneau, across the Gastineau Channel, all the way through the emotional closing ceremony, we emersed ourselves in event. To enrich the viewers experience, we worked closely with our sound engineer to create a rich tapestry of traditional songs into the final piece. And we could not be prouder of the final document.
