Alaska Pacific University partnered with us to create a compelling 3-minute video that captures the essence of who they are—their mission, vision, values, and the diverse academic experiences they offer. The project was built around a custom-written narration that we developed in close collaboration with university leadership, ensuring the story stayed true to APU’s voice and goals. 

We coordinated all aspects of pre-production, working closely with faculty, students, and staff to plan a fast-paced multi-day shoot. APU’s priority was authenticity, so we met individually with professors and community leaders to thoughtfully represent each area of study. From filming whitewater rafting recovery in the outdoor studies program, to capturing stream samples for microplastic analysis in the chemistry lab, to documenting conversations with Native Alaskan Elders on the Elder Council—the video reflected the university’s mission of integrating Indigenous ways of knowing with hands-on, world-class education.
